Body found in wooded area
A body was found Saturday in a wooded area in Slippery Rock Township, Lawrence County, just a few miles outside Butler County.
Per multiple news reports, state police were investigating after the body was found in woodlands along Houk Road, which runs parallel to the northern boundary of McConnell’s Mill State Park.
According to various sources, an autopsy has been scheduled.
