The WPIAL has announced its all-section girls soccer teams with numerous Butler County girls being selected.

In Section 3-AA, three Freeport seniors - midfielders Lacy Cochran and Olivia Hess, and defender Nikki Woitas - made the squad.

In Section 2-AAA, Butler senior midfielder Elise McCaskey and junior forward Kelly Hilderbrand were selected. Seneca Valley had three honorees in senior midfielder Carrie Wack, junior midfielder Ashley Rees and junior defender Tara Dohn.

In Section 7-AAA, Knoch has three honorees in senior goalkeeper Samantha Brown, sophomore midfielder P.J. Abels and freshman forward Amanda Sharbaugh.

Mars senior midfielder Nikki Frisbee was also selected to the Section 7-AAA squad.
