5:53 p.m. Saturday — Keith C. Graham, 59, of Butler was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence on Route 68 at O'Donnell Road in Donegal Township.1:29 p.m. Saturday — Shawn R. Nelson, 33, of Cabot lost control of his pickup truck and crashed on Winfield Road, just north of Edgewood Drive, in Winfield Township.4:30 a.m. Saturday — A car driven by Jiayi Qiu, 20, of Amhurst, N.Y., struck a guardrail after sliding off snow-covered Interstate 79 in Muddy Creek Township.7:40 p.m. Friday — A Texas woman wanted on a warrant out of Missouri was arrested after an unspecified incident at the Pilot convenience store on Route 422 in Muddy Creek Township. The suspect, Britteny Tobler, 28, of Decatur, was placed in the Butler County Prison on a fugitive from justice charge for the warrant.3:55 p.m. Friday — A sport utility vehicle driven by Danielle M. Wiles, 40, of Butler rear-ended a pickup on Route 356 in Butler Township. Police said Wiles was cited for careless driving. Timothy R. Wallace, 45, of Chicora was driving the pickup.4:01 p.m. Thursday — A 17-year-old Petrolia girl crashed the SUV she was driving into the back of a pickup on Main Street at Ekas Lane in Karns City. Police said the girl, who they did not identify, was ticketed for following too closely to another vehicle. William J. Simmons, 46, of Chicora was driving the pickup.1:40 p.m. Thursday — Joseph W. Mariacher, 23, of Butler was hurt when he lost control of his SUV on the snow-covered berm and struck a utility pole along Route 356 just south of Phil Mar Drive in Summit Township.Mariacher, who was wearing a seat belt, suffered minor injuries. Police cited him for a lane violation.12:18 p.m. Thursday — An SUV driven by Eric H. Schuelke, 55, of Sarver struck an embankment and rolled onto its side at Route 228 and Saxonburg Boulevard in Clinton Township. Police cited Schuelke for driving too fast for conditions.Tuesday — Police issued citations to four men stemming from a fight last month in the driveway of a home in the 700 block of Herman Road in Summit Township.Cited for disorderly conduct in the incident about 11:20 p.m. Jan. 31 were Michael Fitzpatrick, 20, of Butler; Timothy Fulks, 20, of Butler; Tyler McCue, 19, of Renfrew; and David Lee McMaster, 25, of Butler. Police also cited McMaster for public drunkenness.2 p.m. Feb. 9 — One person was hurt in a two-vehicle wreck in Clay Township. The crash happened when pickups driven by Jamie J. Kriebel, 19, of Harrisville and Darryl A. Mayberry, 36, of Slippery Rock collided on Halston Road just east of Casper Lane.A passenger in Mayberry's truck, Amy L. Mayberry, 48, of Slippery Rock, who was wearing a seat belt, was taken to Butler Memorial Hospital with unknown injuries.Police cited Kriebel for improperly entering or crossing a road.1:23 p.m. Feb. 9 — An SUV driven by Jaroslaw Wlodarczyk, 40, of Lower Burrell, Westmoreland County, went out of control around a bend and hit another SUV on Main Street just north of Hooker Road in Karns City.The other driver, a 17-year-old Karns City girl, who police did not identify, swerved her vehicle but was unable to avoid the crash. Police cited Wlodarczyk for a lane violation.12:42 a.m. Feb. 9 — A car driven by Aubrey A. Petruso, 19, of Indiana, Pa., crashed into an embankment on snow-covered Route 38 just south of Brian Road in Concord Township. Police cited Petruso for driving too fast for conditions.North Washington volunteer firefighters assisted police at the scene.3:34 a.m. Feb. 8 — An Armstrong County man was hurt in a two-vehicle crash in Muddy Creek Township. The wreck happened when a pickup truck driven by Brian A. Workley, 38, of Elderton drifted into the opposing lane and sideswiped another pickup on Route 488.Workley, who was not wearing a seat belt, was taken to Butler Memorial Hospital with moderate injuries. Police said Workley was cited for careless driving. Aaron P. Rensel, 51, of Portersville was the other driver.1:30 a.m. Feb. 8 — An SUV sideswiped a hazard warning sign along Route 173 just west of Route 8 in Brady Township. The crash knocked the passenger side mirror off the vehicle but the sign was not damaged. Police did not identify the driver, who was cited for lane violation.10:31 a.m. Feb. 2 — Kirstin M. Kiser, 24, of West Sunbury lost control of her SUV and crashed into a tree along Jamisonville Road just west of Rider Church in Center Township. Police cited Kiser for driving too fast for conditions.9:35 a.m. Feb. 2 — A pickup driven by Shawn E. Vincent, 51, of Butler struck a ditch after sliding off snow-covered Route 38 in Allegheny Township. Police cited Vincent for driving too fast for conditions.10:04 p.m. Feb. 1 — A 17-year-old Butler boy lost control of his SUV, traveled through a yard and hit a tree along Whitestown Road east of Eagle Mill Road in Connoquenessing Township. Police did not identify the boy, who was cited for driving too fast for conditions.6:30 p.m. Jan. 29 — Richard E. Humes, 25, of Slippery Rock was arrested for suspicion of DUI after police got several calls for a pickup truck running other vehicles off the road northbound on Route 8 in Center Township.Police said they found Humes passed out behind the wheel of his pickup on Route 8 at the Clearview Mall in Center Township.
2:14 p.m. Friday — Katie S. Klassen, 20, of Emlenton and her passenger, Heavenlea C. Davis, 21, of Parker, were seriously injured when Klassen lost control of her sport utility vehicle while attempting to pass another and rolled over several times in Beaver Township, Clarion County.Both women, neither who was wearing a seat belt, were thrown out of the vehicle. The vehicle ended on its roof.Klassen and Davis were taken to Clarion Hospital with injuries that police described as “major.”Knox volunteer firefighters assisted police at the scene.11 p.m. Wednesday — A 25-year-old Templeton woman who works at the Clarion Psychiatric Center was attacked by a patient at the facility in Monroe Township. The suspect, an 18-year-old woman from Muncy, Lycoming County, repeatedly hit the staff member in the head.A police news release did not say if the victim, who they did not identify, was treated for injuries. Police also did not identify the suspect, who faces a felony assault charge.
1:27 a.m. Sunday — Kristy L. Ulrich, 34, of Sarver was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence after she lost control of her sport utility vehicle and hit a concrete barrier on one side of Route 28 about one mile south of exit 16 in Harrison Township, Allegheny County.Following the first crash, the vehicle traveled back across the road and hit a concrete barrier on the other side of the road. The SUV traveled onto the road again and continued for about 50 feet before hitting the same barrier a second time.6:01 a.m. Saturday — Katherine Duncan, 34, of Ford City was arrested for suspicion of DUI after her car got stuck in a snow bank on Garretts Run Road near Campbells Road in Kittanning Township. Police said when troopers got there they found Duncan sleeping behind the wheel.2:52 p.m. Thursday — A car and SUV collided at Glade and Parkview drives in East Franklin Township. Police did not identify either driver. The driver of the car was cited for failing to yield.Feb. 10 — Zachary T. Stennett, 20, of Worthington was arrested on charges he broke into a house in Rayburn Township last year. The homeowner, a 78-year-old woman, was at church when her home was burglarized.Police allege Stennett kicked in the door between 9 a.m. and noon Nov. 10 and stole jewelry and a 16-gauge shotgun. Investigators were able to lift latent fingerprints from the house. Analysis of those prints identified Stennett as the suspect, according to a police report.Stennett was arraigned on charges of burglary, trespass and theft, all felonies, and placed in the Armstrong County Jail. He was released Wednesday after posting $10,000 bond.10:20 a.m. Feb. 6 — A would-be thief tried to use a counterfeit payroll check to buy groceries and obtain cash back at the Grove City County Market at the Pine Grove Square shopping plaza in Pine Township. The unknown suspect fled the store empty-handed.
12:32 p.m. Wednesday — A pickup truck driven by Gail Blakeley, 73, of Wampum, Lawrence County, crashed into a tree along Brent Road near Route 258 in Liberty Township, Mercer County.Police cited Blakeley for driving too fast for conditions.
