Richard and Ruth Dickson

Butler residents Ruth McHattie and Richard Dickson were united in marriage at 11 a.m. Aug. 18 at Community Alliance Church in Butler. The couple's grandson the Rev. David Dickson II officiated. A reception followed at the Butler Days Inn.

David Dickson, son of the bride and groom, presented the bride for marriage.

The couple's sons, Rick Dickson and Randy Dickson, both of Butler, served as ushers.

The bride is retired from Butler Memorial Hospital.

The bridegroom is retired from Pullman Standard.

The couple is making their home in Butler.
