Travis and Emily Ballew

Emily Graham of Butler Township and Travis Ballew of Connoquenessing Township were united in marriage at 4 p.m. June 30 at St. Fidelis Roman Catholic Church in Butler Township. The Rev. James Murphy officiated. A reception followed at the Vagabond Center in Lyndora.

The bride is the daughter of Greg and Theresa Graham of Butler Township. Parents of the bridegroom are Art and Shelly Ballew of Connoquenessing Township.

The honor attendant was Amanda Smith of Butler. Bridesmaids included Jamie Fogle of Monroeville, Jessica Kuntz of Pittsburgh, Rachel Crooks of Kiski and Alanna Daniels of Altoona. The flower girls were Kaley and Olivia Cook of Hickory, N.C.

The best man, Staff Sgt. Daniel Smith of Butler was unable to attend as he is currently serving in Afghanistan. Serving as best man during the ceremony was Marcus Ballew of Connoquenessing Township. Ushers included Gregory Graham and Chad Graham, both of Butler; Joe McGee of Renfrew; and Devon Kriebel of Rimersburg.

The bride is a 2002 graduate of Butler High School and a 2006 graduate of Seton Hill University. She works as a preschool teacher at the Butler County Children's Center.

The bridegroom graduated in 2001 from Butler High School and in 2006 from Butler County Community College. He works as a staff nurse at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital in Oakland.

Following a honeymoon trip to Montego Bay, Jamaica, the couple is making their home in Prospect.
