Skwirut, Sickenberger

Elizabeth and Christopher Sickenberger

Elizabeth Skwirut of Sarver and Christopher Sickenberger of Kittanning were united in marriage at 3 p.m. May 26 at St. Luke's Lutheran Church in Cabot. The Rev. Jason Hoerth officiated. A reception followed at the Syria Shrine Mosque in Cheswick.

The bride is the daughter of Joseph and Laurie Gillespie of Sarver. Parents of the bridegroom are William and Kathy Sickenberger of Worthington.

The bride was presented for marriage by her stepfather Joseph Gillespie.

The matron of honor was the bride's sister Amy Franks of Sarver. Bridesmaids included Tonia Sabo of Cabot; the groom's sisters Christina Beam and Michelle Sickenberger, both of Freeport; Michelle Ford of Freeport; and Dana Tresco of Ohio. Flower girls were Autumn Franks of Sarver and Alexi Ford of Freeport.

Performing the duties of best man was Thomas Beam of Freeport. Groomsmen included Jamie Morabito of New Kensington, the bride's brother John Gillespie of California, David Migliorisi of Boyers, Kevin Franks of Sarver and the groom's brother Greg Sickenberger of Cadogan. The ring bearer was Tommy Beam of Freeport.

The bride is a 1997 graduate of Freeport High School and a 1999 graduate of the Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine. She works as a dental hygienist in the office of Dr. Robert Fornalczyk at Butler Dental Excellence in Butler.

The bridegroom graduated in 1995 from Freeport High School and in 1998 from Penn State University with a degree in electrical engineering technology. He works with computer numerical control machining at Penn United Technology in Cabot.

Following a honeymoon trip to the Sandals resort in St. Lucia, the couple is making their home in Sarver.
