Foster, Jordan
Volant residents Lindsey Foster and Scott Jordan were united in marriage at 3:30 p.m. July 7 at Westminster Presbyterian Church in Evans City. The Rev. John Park officiated. A reception followed at the Zelienople American Legion.
The bride is the daughter of Gerry and Denise Foster of Prospect. Parents of the bridegroom are Robert and Marsha Jordan of Butler.
The maid of honor was Jennylee Mihalik of Slippery Rock and the matron of honor was Brandy Davison of Evans City. Bridesmaids included Megan Wilson of Columbia, S.C.; Melissa Barkley of Philadelphia; and Lindsay Rasp and Marrisa Rasp, both of Evans City. Flower girls were Westyn Foster of Prospect and Alyssa Ryan of Brandon, Fla.
Serving his son as best man was Robert Jordan of Butler. Ushers included Craig Davison of Evans City; Jason Foster and Nicholas Foster, both of Prospect; and Joshua King of Slippery Rock. The ring bearer was Logan King of Slippery Rock.
The bride is a 2000 graduate of Slippery Rock High School and a 2002 graduate of the Western School of Health and Business Careers. She works at North Park OB/GYN Associates in Wexford.
The bridegroom graduated in 1996 from Seneca Valley High School and in 2000 from the United States Merchant Marine Academy at Kings Point, N.Y.
Following a honeymoon trip to Crocodile Bay, Costa Rica, the couple is making their home in Volant.
