With precious memories of my husband, John A. Lestyk, who was born into Eternal Life, 19 years ago today.

My dear Mouse,

We shared so many special times, in 24 short years.

And I remember every one,

With laughter, some with tears.

Hand in hand, we started out,

The world was at our feet.

We learned so much together,

The lessons were so sweet.

As the world moved on around us,

We worked, we played, we loved.

Our life was filled with blessings,

We thanked the Lord above.

But then, the dream was over,

Our fairy tale was through.

Our happy world was shattered.

Now Heaven’s holding you.

The grief ~ beyond expression.

My soul was torn apart.

The world moved on around me.

Me and my broken heart.

The loving God who took you Home,

Then opened wide His arms.

He chose for me a special man,

With a gentle, loving charm.

Your memory is alive and well,

Within our home to stay.

We speak about you often.

I remember you each day.

And now, Sweet Mouse, I hope you know,

Wherever I may be,

A part of you will always glow,
