Lomb, Edinger

Doug and Christy Edinger

Christy Lomb and Doug Edinger were united in marriage at 5:30 p.m. Aug. 18 at St. Catherine of Sweden Roman Catholic Church in Allison Park. The Rev. Bob Coyne officiated. A reception followed at the Futules Harmar House.

The bride is the daughter of Bob and Carol Lomb of Allison Park. Parents of the bridegroom are Don and Jacquie Edinger of Valencia.

The matron of honor was Jean Schempp of Gibsonia. Bridesmaids were Stacy Monarko of Allison Park, Denise Bonura of South Side and Becky Schmitt of Butler. The flower girl was Peyton Edinger of Valencia.

Serving his brother as best man was Donnie Edinger of Valencia Ushers were Chris Daugherty, A.J. Mauire and Zack Edinger, all of Valencia, and the bride's brother, Rob Lomb of Georgia.

The bride is a 2000 graduate of Hampton High School and 2004 graduate of Slippery Rock University. She works as a learning support teacher at Poff Elementary School in Hampton Township School District.

The bridegroom graduated in 1997 from Mars High School. He works as a furnace technician in the Carbide Division at Penn United Technology.

Following a honeymoon trip to St. Lucia, the couple is making their home in Mars.
