Diane and Charles Walsh

Pittsburgh residents Diane Lane and Charles Walsh were united in marriage at 2:30 p.m. Sept. 29 at Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church in Dayton, Ohio. The Rev. James Manning officiated. A reception followed at the Moraine Country Club.

The bride is the daughter of Raymond and Catherine Lane of Kettering, Ohio. Parents of the bridegroom are Michael and Cheryl Walsh of Butler.

The honor attendant was Genevieve LeFevour of Wilmette, Ill. Bridesmaids included Lisa Cooling of Ann Arbor, Mich.; Lori Lane of Cincinnati; Elizabeth Phelps of New York City; and Diane Powers of Chicago. Diana Roberts of Fort Worth, Texas, served as a junior bridesmaid and Kalyna White of Reston, Va., as a flower girl.

Serving his brother as best man was Michael Walsh Jr. of Redmond, Wash. Ushers included Christopher Tino of Hoboken, N.J., and the bride's brothers Timothy Lane of Cincinnati and Michael Lane of Ann Arbor.

The bride is a 2000 graduate of Alter High School; a 2004 graduate of the University of Notre Dame; and a 2007 graduate of Duquesne University, where she earned a master's degree in education.

The bridegroom graduated in 2000 from Shady Side Academy, in 2004 from the University of Richmond and in 2007 from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law. He is affiliated with Walsh Equipment.

Following a honeymoon trip to the island of St. John, the couple is making their home in Pittsburgh.
