Cypher, Knox
Manon Cypher and Ian Knox, both of Seattle, were united in marriage at 2 p.m. Oct. 13 at St. John's Roman Catholic Church in Clearfield Township. The Rev. Joseph Mulligan officiated. A reception followed at the Butler Country Club.
The bride is the daughter of Gary and Yolanda Cypher of Fenelton. Parents of the bridegroom are Alan and Elaine Knox of Beaconsfield, England.
The honor attendant was Maria Rink of Hartford, Conn. Bridesmaids included Bridget O'Connell of Washington, D.C.; Kara Cotter of Gibsonia; Michelle Lucas of Providence, R.I.; and Kate Knox of London.
Performing the duties of best man was David Farquharson of London. Ushers included Matthew Cypher of Dallas, Texas; Joseph Levy of Seattle; and Alex Baker and Alastair Mackworth-Gee, both of London.
The bride is a 1998 graduate of Butler High School and a 2002 graduate of Xavier University, where she earned a bachelor of arts degree in economics. She is employed at Providence Hospice of Seattle Foundation.
The bridegroom graduated in 1991 from Dr. Challoners Grammar School; in 1994 from Nottingham University, earning a bachelor of science degree in computer science; and in 2003 from Northwestern University, earning a master's degree in business administration. He is employed by Microsoft in Redmond, Wash.
Following a honeymoon trip to Mexico, the couple is making their home in Seattle.
