Merwin, Myers
Amber Merwin and Mason Myers were united in marriage at 3:30 p.m. Sept. 8 at Second Presbyterian Church in Oil City. The Rev. Larry Myers and the Rev. Robert Hernan officiated. A reception followed at the Arlington Hotel.
The bride is the daughter of Kenneth and Janet Merwin of Parker. Parents of the bridegroom are Larry and Debbie Myers of Rockland.
The maid of honor was Jessica Ambrose of Parker. Bridesmaids included Jessica Myers of Erie, Darilyn Gregor of Chicora, Kelly Dehart of Parker and Erica Thompson of Eau Claire. The flower girl was Paige Myers of Erie.
Performing the duties of best man was Adam Crawford of Parker. Groomsmen included Blake Myers of Erie, Dirk Myers of Rockland, Brian Best of Nickleville and Josh Glessner of Erie. Ushers included the bride's brother Robert Merwin of Parker and Jesse Alden of Rockland.
The bride is a 2001 graduate of Allegheny-Clarion Valley High School. She is employed by U.S. Investigations Services.
The bridegroom graduated in 2002 from A-C Valley High School and in 2006 from Penn State Erie, The Behrend College, where he earned a bachelor's degree in plastics engineering. He works for Beaumont Technologies of Erie.
Following a honeymoon trip to St. Lucia, the couple is making their home in Erie.
