Hudak, Travis
Slippery Rock residents Ashley Hudak and Mike Travis were united in marriage at 3:30 p.m. June 16 at West Sunbury United Presbyterian Church. The Rev. James Lewis officiated. A reception followed at Epiphany Hall in Boyers.
The bride is the daughter of Dennis and Lisa Pry and Joseph Hudak, all of Slippery Rock. Parents of the bridegroom are John and Michelle Stoops of Slippery Rock and the late Richard Travis.
The bride was presented for marriage by her father and stepfather.
The honor attendant was Brandy Fishel of Butler. Bridesmaids included Ashley Pry, Elizabeth Pry, Stacey Stoops and Shaley Tarr, all of Slippery Rock. The flower girl was Destiny Travis of Slippery Rock.
Performing the duties of best man was Stephen Gibson of Parker. Ushers included Dennis Pry II, John Stoops Jr. and Troy Stewart, all of Slippery Rock, and Keith Black of Millersville, Md. The ring bearer was Zachary Pry of Slippery Rock.
The bride is a 2003 graduate of Moniteau High School and attended Butler County Community College. She runs an in-home day care center.
The bridegroom graduated in 1999 from Moniteau High School. He is employed by the Sprinklerfitter Union Local 669.
The couple is making their home in Slippery Rock.
