Christine Burns and James Brown, both of Butler, were united in marriage at 3 p.m. Jan. 11 at Caesar's Pocono Palace in Marshalls Creek. The Rev. Joseph Grenier officiated. A reception followed at the Caesar's Pocono Palace.
The bride is the daughter of David and Kathy MacDonald of Butler. Parents of the bridegroom are Ronald Brown and Ann Lucas, both of Butler.
The honor attendant was Rachel Macefe of Butler.
Performing the duties of best man was Robert Beranty of Butler.
The bride is a 1992 graduate of Butler High School and a 2003 graduate of the Lenape School of Nursing. She works for the Department of Veterans Affairs in Butler.
The bridegroom graduated in 1993 from Butler High School and in 2007 from the New Castle School of Trades. He works for Altman Trucking in Fenelton.
Following a honeymoon stay at Pocono Palace Resorts, the couple is making their home in Butler.
