Dahn and Mike Kilroy

Dahn Nelson and Mike Kilroy were united in marriage June 28 at the Scottish Rite Cathedral in New Castle. Patricia Schaefer officiated. A reception followed at the same location.

The bride is the daughter of William Nelson of Zelienople and the late Carol Nelson. Parents of the bridegroom are David and Carol Kilroy of Windham, Ohio.

The honor attendant was Lori Davidson of Zelienople. Bridesmaids included Tracey Nelson of Zelienople, Stacy Nelson of Evans City, Sarah Hendess of Lake Mary, Fla.; and Sarah White of Zelienople.

Performing the duties of best man was Joe Lawlor of Clio, Mich. Ushers included Bud Nelson of Zelienople, Larry Nelson of Zelienople, John Enrietto of Butler and Gary White of Zelienople.

The bride is a 1995 graduate of Seneca Valley High School and a 2003 graduate of the Art Institute of Pittsburgh. She is the online manager for the Butler Eagle.

The bridegroom graduated from Windham High School in 1989 and from Kent State University in 1994. He is a sports writer for the Butler Eagle.

Following a honeymoon trip to Put-in-Bay, Ohio, the couple is making their home in Renfrew.
