Leaf pickup in Slippery Rock will take place Monday through Friday until Nov. 14, weather permitting. There also will be three Saturday pickup dates: Oct. 18, Oct. 25 and Nov. 1. Only piles of leaves placed at the curb will be accepted. Leaves in bags and windrows will not be accepted.

Items for Town & County should be submitted on weekdays no later than 4 p.m. the day before requested publication.
