Sonntag, Barkley
Julie Sonntag and C.J. Barkley were united in marriage Aug. 30 at the Barkley residence in Slippery Rock. The Rev. Jim Lewis officiated. A reception followed at the same location.
The bride is the daughter of Bill and Jean Sonntag of Slippery Rock. Parents of the bridegroom are Dale and Sue Barkley of Slippery Rock.
The honor attendant was Katie Dickey of Slippery Rock. Michelle Barkley of Worcester, Mass., served as bridesmaid.
Performing the duties of best man was Shon Wagner of Slippery Rock. Usher was Bill Sonntag of Slippery Rock.
The bride is a 2000 graduate of Slippery Rock High School and a 2004 graduate of Florida Gulf Coast University. She received her master's degree in nonprofit management in 2008 from Robert Morris University. She works for the United Way of Lee County in Fort Myers, Fla.
The bridegroom graduated in 1992 from Slippery Rock High School. He works for Bankers Life and Casualty in Fort Myers.
The couple is making their home in Fort Myers.
