Kelly and Andrew Smith

Kelly Detzel and Andrew Smith were united in marriage Sept. 13 at Jefferson Center Presbyterian Church in Saxonburg. The Rev. Russ St. John officiated. A reception followed at the Succop Conservancy in Penn Township.

The bride is the daughter of Carl and Judy Detzel of Butler. Parents of the bridegroom are Steve and Allyson Smith of Wyalusing.

The honor attendant was Rachel Fertelmes of Cabot. Bridesmaids included Dana Townsend of Butler, Hilary McCarren of Butler, Amanda Cooper of Saxonburg, Danna Kerns of Ligonier and Sarah Joy Hays of State College. Baylie Smith of Oakmont served as flower girl.

Performing the duties of best man was Cameron Smith of Due West, S.C. Ushers included Chad Smith of Oakmont, Zebulon South of South Charleston, Ohio, Jeff Keeney of Lititz, James Detzel of Butler and Zach Clement of Lowell, Mass. Ring bearer was Tyler Berger of Pittsburgh.

The bride is a 2004 graduate of Knoch High School and a 2008 graduate of Penn State University. She works for CLT Efficient Technologies Group in Pittsburgh.

The bridegroom graduated from Wyalusing High School and in 2008 from Penn State University. He is studying for a master's degree at the University of Pittsburgh.

Following a honeymoon trip to New Mexico and Colorado, the couple is making their home in Pittsburgh.
