McChesney, Joyner

Megan and Charles Joyner

Megan McChesney and Charles Joyner were united in marriage Sept. 6 at the Brick House in Butler. The Rev. Kenneth Palmer officiated. A reception followed at the same location.

The bride is the daughter of Robert and Kathy McChesney of Renfrew. Parents of the bridegroom are Virginia Joyner of Roanoke Rapids, N.C., and the late James Joyner.

The honor attendant was Alyson Faber of Evans City. Bridesmaids included Stephanie Griesbach of Herndon, Va., and Jaime Condie of Ashburn, Va.

Performing the duties of best man was Patrick McCool of Jacksonville, Fla. Ushers included Tom Wilson of Chesapeake City, Md., and Bryan Condie of Ashburn, Va.

The bride is a 2001 graduate of Butler High School and a 2003 graduate of the Pittsburgh Technical Institute. She works for Intergraph in McLean, Va.

The bridegroom graduated in 1994 from Northwest Halifax High School and in 1999 from Barton College. He works for KForce in Reston, Va.

Following a honeymoon trip to the Dominican Republic, the couple is making their home in Sterling, Va.
