Klann, Herrit
Katie Klann and Douglas Herrit were united in marriage Aug. 1 at St. Paul Roman Catholic Church in Butler. The Rev. Steve Neff officiated. A reception followed at Highfield Hall.
The bride is the daughter of Robert and Jeannie Klann of Butler. Parents of the bridegroom are Dennis and Heidi Herrit of Butler.
The honor attendant was Suzanne Klann of Butler. Bridesmaids were Abby Herrit of Greenville, N.C.; Sarah Spencer of Warren and Liz Ernst of New Castle.
Performing the duties of best man was Ronnie Ernst of New Castle. Groomsmen were Herbert Klann of Butler, Benjamin Landin of Butler and John Herrit of Butler. Ushers were Travis Simpson of New Jersey and Joe Osiecki of Erie.
The bride is a 2003 graduate of Butler High School and a 2007 graduate of Edinboro University. She is a teacher for Lake County Schools in Florida.
The bridegroom graduated in 2004 from Butler High School and in 2008 from Penn State University. He is a structural engineer for McLaren Engineering Group in Orlando.
Following a honeymoon trip to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, the couple is making their home in Florida.
