Erskine, Snyder
Katie Erskine and Douglas Snyder were united in marriage June 14 at the Pleasant Unity United Presbyterian Church in Tarentum. A reception followed at the couple's home in West Deer.
The bride is the daughter of Bill and Linda Erskine of Tarentum. Parents of the bridegroom are Ray and Becky Snyder of Fenelton.
The bride is a 2002 graduate of Deer Lakes High School and received a bachelor's degree from Slippery Rock University. She works as a substitute teacher for Deer Lakes High School.
The bridegroom graduated in 2001 from Butler High School and studied heating, ventilation and air conditioning at the Butler Vocational Technical School and works as the service supervisor for McDonald HVAC.
Following a honeymoon trip to St. Thomas, the couple are making their home in West Deer.
