Craig and Amy Bender

Amy DeVore and Craig Bender were united in marriage July 19 at St. Paul's Community Church in Chicora. The Rev. Randall Forester officiated. A reception followed at the Sugarcreek Township Fire Hall.

The bride is the daughter of Jon and Kathy DeVore of Chicora. Parents of the bridegroom are Gene and Linda Bender of Butler.

The honor attendant was Stephanie DeVore of Chicora. Bridesmaids included Lindsey Pawlowicz of Butler and Jenna Seybert of Chicora.

Performing the duties of best man was Leyland Bender of Butler. Ushers included Aaron Bender of Butler and Matt Pawlowicz of Butler.

The bride is a 2001 graduate of Karns City High School. She works for Care-o-Sel Day Care in Kittanning.

The bridegroom graduated in 2000 from Butler High School and works for Altman Trucking in Fenelton.

Following a honeymoon trip to Jamaica, the couple is making their home in Butler.
