Erik and Alicia Udovich

Alicia Carbin and Erik Udovich were united in marriage Aug. 16 at St. Fidelis Roman Catholic Church in Butler. The Rev. Dismas Young officiated. A reception followed at Grove City Country Club.

The bride is the daughter of Bernie and Alice Carbin of Butler. Parents of the bridegroom are Willy and Linda Udovich of Chesapeake, Va.

The honor attendant was Ashley Carbin of Butler. Bridesmaids were Michelle Higgins of Chesapeake, Danielle McKain of Butler, Jennifer McCall of Butler, Sharon Noto of Evans City, Katie Wolensky of Butler and Kristen Shehab of Milford, Conn. Flower girl was Becca Allison of Butler.

Performing the duties of best man was Trevor Laribee of Las Vegas. Ushers were Adam Higgins of Chesapeake, Josh Waligory of King Ferry, N.Y.; Josh Kenyon of Columbus, Miss.; Stan Mankowski of Waretown, N.J.; Eric Stamm of Atlanta and Dan Lynn of Bethesda, Md. Ring bearer was Christopher Higgins of Chesapeake.

The bride is a 2000 graduate of Butler High School and a 2005 graduate of Penn State University. She works for Clark Nexsen Architecture and Engineering in Norfolk, Va.

The bridegroom graduated in 1997 from Clarkson University and in 2008 from the College of William and Mary. He works for Northrup Grumman Newport News in Newport News, Va.

Following a honeymoon trip to Los Cabos, Mexico, the couple are making their home in Hampton, Va.
