Wachtel, Giles
Amanda Wachtel and Michael Giles were united in marriage Oct. 4 at Holy Sepulcher Church in Butler. The Rev. Dan Maurer officiated. A reception followed at the Four Points by Sheraton in Warrendale.
The bride is the daughter of James and Sharon Wachtel of Butler. Parents of the bridegroom are James and Julie Giles and Deborah Anderson, all of Lockport, N.Y.
The honor attendant was Courtney Gruber of Cranberry Township. Bridesmaids included Lori James of Butler, Lexi Keffalas of Butler, Cynthia Kilkenny of Agoura Hills, Calif.; Stephanie Kish of Butler; Kellie Bogovich of Mars; Jill Siegle of Wexford; Jackie Giles of Houston and Rhiannon Germany of Lockport. Flower girl was Liliana Kish of Butler.
Performing the duties of best man was James Giles of Lockport. Ushers included Todd Currie of Lockport; D.J. Anderson of Rochester, N.Y.; Aric Hayden of Lockport, Joseph Anderson of Lockport, Jeff Couterier of Lockport, Keith Garvey of Lockport, Volf Moreau of Rockland County, N.Y., and John Koenemund of Pittsburgh. Ring bearers were Bryce and Zak Kilkenny of Agoura Hills.
The bride is a 1997 graduate of Butler High School and a 2001 graduate of Indiana (Pa.) University. She works for Tri-State Video Services in Valencia.
The bridegroom graduated in 1994 from Lockport High School and in 2000 from Point Park University. He received his master's degree in business administration in 2003 from Point Park University.
Following a honeymoon trip to Key West, Fla., the couple are making their home in Butler.
