McClaine, Slater
Maggie McClaine and Joshua Slater were united in marriage April 19 at St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church in Bradys Bend. The Rev. Joseph Bonafed officiated. A reception followed at General Butler Vagabonds.
The bride is the daughter of Diana DeBacco of East Brady and Edward McClaine of Chicora. Parents of the bridegroom are Paul and Jane Slater of Butler.
The honor attendants were Mallory Robinson of East Brady and Linda Bard of Chicora. Bridesmaids included Jennifer Beachem of Butler, Kristen Beck of West Sunbury, Cathryn O'Donnell of Chicora, Holly King of Leesburg, Va., and Jamie Noblit of East Brady. Junior bridesmaid was Brooke Hiles of East Brady and junior brides were Grace Bard and Kiara Yough, both of Chicora.
Performing the duties of best man was Philip Slater of New Castle. Ushers included Jamie Slater, Chad Beachem, Bryan Swidzinski, Brad Craig, Dave Ricciardella, all of Butler, and Mike Noblit of East Brady. Junior groomsman was Christopher Easley. Junior ushers were Dominic Bard of Chicora, Garret DeBacco of Cowansville and Gunnar Yough of Chicora. Junior groom was Alec Bard of Chicora and ring bearer was Callen Robinson of East Brady.
The bride is a 2001 graduate of Karns City High School and a 2005 graduate of Butler County Community College. She received a degree in 2007 from Slippery Rock University and works for Butler County Community College at Lawrence Crossing in New Castle.
The bridegroom graduated in 1999 from Butler High School and in 2002 from Butler County Community College. He works for UPS in Butler.
Following a honeymoon trip to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, the couple are making their home in Butler.
