Cypher, Weikert
Erica Cypher and Matthew Weikert were united in marriage Nov. 15 at Bethel Baptist Church in Cary, N.C. The Rev. Tom Farley officiated. A reception followed at the Jordan Family Life Center at the church.
The bride is the daughter of Teresa Cypher of Apex. N.C., and Rick and Tracy Cypher of Cary, N.C. Her parents are formerly of Butler. Parents of the bridegroom are Brian and Liz Weikert of Fuquay-Varina, N.C.
The honor attendant was Victoria Hartz of Apex. Bridesmaids were Kendra Russo of Seattle, Wash., and Meghan McAnallen and Allison Bard, both of Butler.
Performing the duties of best man was Brian Weikert of Fuquay-Varina. Ushers were David Weikert, Mark Weikert, and Joseph Weikert, all of Fuquay-Varina.
The bride is a 2006 graduate of Apex High School in Apex. She is currently pursuing an engineering degree from North Carolina State University.
The bridegroom graduated in 2007 from Weikert Christian Academy and is in the U.S. Marine Corps.
Following a honeymoon trip to Topsail Beach, N.C., the Weikerts are making their home in Apex.
