Hunter, Fleming
Susan Hunter of Adams Township and Scott Fleming of Imperial, Pa., were united in marriage July 11 at First United Methodist Church in Butler. The Rev. J. David Panther officiated. A reception followed at the Butler Country Club.
The bride is the daughter of Bob and Gail Hunter of Butler. Parents of the bridegroom are Jack and Helen Fleming of Peters Township.
The honor attendant was Nancy Hunter Mycka of Valencia. Bridesmaids were Ann Hart Hunter of Atlanta, Erin Wallace of Oakdale, Erin Harrigan of Peters Township, Carla Smith of Butler and Valerie Jordan of Chicora. Flower girls were Sydney and Lizzie Hunter of Atlanta and Madison and Meredith Harrigan of Peters Township.
Performing the duties of best man was Todd Fleming of Seoul, South Korea. Ushers were Steven Hunter of Atlanta, Joseph Mycka of Valencia, Kenn Harrigan of Peters Township, Michael Murphy of Pittsburgh, James Murtaugh of Pittsburgh and Michael McCloskey of Pittsburgh. The ring bearer was Jack Hunter of Atlanta.
The bride is a 1994 graduate of Butler High School and a 1998 graduate of Ohio Wesleyan University. She is employed by Butler School District as a teacher.
The bridegroom graduated in 1989 from Baldwin High School, in 1993 from Duquesne University and in 1997 from the University of Pittsburgh. He is employed by FedEx Services in Moon Township.
Following a honeymoon trip to Hawaii, the couple is making their home in Cranberry Township.
