Lupi, Benson
Michelle Lupi and Steven Benson, both of Butler, were united in marriage July 11 at St. Peter Roman Catholic Church. The Rev. Jack Nanz officiated. A reception followed at Tanglewood.
The bride is the daughter of Mike and Marcia Lupi of Butler. Parents of the bridegroom are Don and Sandy Benson of New Castle.
The honor attendant was Carey Doyle of Butler. Bridesmaids included Jennifer Cugini of New Castle and Brystal Gilliland of Butler. The flower girl was Cecelia Doyle of Butler.
Performing the duties of best man was Shayne Doyle of Butler. Ushers included Shawn Lupi of Butler and Patrick Pettinato of Butler. The ring bearers were Gannon and Cullen Doyle of Butler.
The bride is a 2003 graduate of Butler High School and a 2008 graduate of Slippery Rock University. She is employed as a teacher at the Clarence Brown Educational Center in Butler.
The bridegroom graduated in 1998 from Mohawk High School. He is employed as the general manager of Petco in Cranberry Township.
Following a honeymoon trip on an eastern Caribbean cruise, the couple is making their home in Butler.
