Cratty, McCorkle
Jessica Cratty and James McCorkle, both of Clarendon, were united in marriage Aug. 1 at St. Fidelis Roman Catholic Church in Butler. The Rev. James Murphy officiated. A reception followed at Betsy's Barn.
The bride is the daughter of Douglas and Carla Cratty of Evans City. Parents of the bridegroom are James A. and Kathryn McCorkle of Butler.
The honor attendant was Carrie Eichner of Butler. The junior maid of honor was Brittany Cratty of Evans City. Bridesmaids were Rebecca Cratty of Evans City, Mallory Kiser of Connoquenessing, Kelli Mato of Butler and Chrissy Stewart of Butler. The flower girls were Emily Kaufman of Parker and Kiersten Rothen of Emlenton.
Performing the duties of best man was Thomas McCorkle of Charleston, S.C. Ushers were Joseph Gigliotti of Yuma, Ariz., James Kenaan of Butler, Samuel Laporte of Connoquenessing, Tyler Protzman of Butler and Larry Abels of Ivins, Utah. The ring bearer was Jordan Cratty of Evans City.
The bride is a 2002 graduate of Butler High School and a 2008 graduate of the Citizens School of Nursing, where she received her RN diploma. She is employed as a staff RN at Charles Cole Memorial Hospital in Coudersport, Potter County.
The bridegroom graduated in 2001 from Butler High School and in 2007 from Slippery Rock University, where he received a degree in park and resource management. He is employed by DCNR State Parks as the manager of Chapman State Park in Warren, Warren County.
Following a honeymoon trip to Costa Rica, the couple is making their home in Clarendon.
