10:55 a.m. Monday — A van driven by Michael Warsing, 39, of Butler struck an embankment at Gregden and Schaffner roads.
8:54 a.m. Wednesday — Cars driven by Jared Bowser, 18, of Chicora and Vernon Dowdy, 37, of Butler collided on Medical Center Road in Donegal Township.5:52 a.m. Wednesday — Apickup truck driven by Danny Fassinger, 34, of Evans City struck a utility pole along Route 528 in Connoquenessing Township. Police said Fassinger was cited for driving too fast for conditions.9:18 p.m. Tuesday — Asport utility vehicle driven by Kevin J. Thompson, 29, and a tow truck driven by Michael Wetzel, 33, both of Saxonburg collided on West Main Street in Jefferson Township.5:30 p.m. Tuesday — An SUVdriven by Kimberly D. Young, 32, of Grove City struck a traffic sign after skidding off slush-covered Interstate 79 in Jackson Township. Police said Young, who suffered minor injuries, was cited for driving too fast for conditions.1:35 p.m. Tuesday — Apickup driven by Joseph Poremski, 19, of Ellwood City, Lawrence County, slid into a van on the snow-covered Route 19 ramp at Route 422 in Muddy Creek Township. Poremski suffered minor injuries. Thomas Satariano, 53, of Pittsburgh was driving the van.11:30 a.m. Tuesday — Acar driven by Robin L. Brown, 25, of Edinboro, Erie County, slid into a guardrail on snow-covered I-79 in Jackson Township.11:25 a.m. Tuesday — Apickup driven by Jonathan Nickleach, 21, of Butler sideswiped an SUV after sliding on snow-covered Eagle Mill Road in Connoquenessing Township. Laurel Baker, 35, of Harmony was driving the SUV.9:35 a.m. Tuesday — Acar driven by Maria Cortijo Ocana, 37, of Cranberry Township struck a guardrail on the I-79 off ramp in Jackson Township.6:30 p.m. Monday—Troopers found a 2005 Kawasaki Mule all-terrain vehicle on the side of Young Road about 0.8 of a mile from Moore Road in Clinton Township, Venango County. Police noted there was no vehicle identification on the ATV. The owner can claim the property by calling the barracks at 724-284-8100.9:40 a.m. Monday — Avan driven by Mark Boyer, 49, of North Apollo, Armstrong County, struck the rear of a pickup on Route 356 in Jefferson Township. Police said Boyer, who suffered minor injuries, was cited for careless driving. Stephen Toward, 32, of Leechburg, Armstrong County, was driving the pickup.Monday — Philip Gall, 52, of Cabot reported that a Sprint cell phone and Microsoft money program were stolen in a burglary between Friday and Monday at his Keasey Road home in Winfield Township.11:21 p.m. Sunday — Joseph W. Shuler, 22, of Butler lost control of his car on snow-covered Elliott Road in Center Township, traveled across the opposite lane and struck an embankment and rolled onto its roof.11 p.m. Sunday — Acar driven by Edward Velez Jr., 18, of Cabot struck a gas meter along Sarver Road in Buffalo Township. Police said Velez was cited for careless driving.8:30 p.m. Sunday — Otto Heitzer, 28, of Butler was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence after his car struck a dirt mound, became airborne and hit a utility pole along Route 356 in Summit Township. The vehicle rolled and landed on its roof. Heitzer suffered unknown injuries but refused treatment at the scene.1:30 p.m. Sunday — Apickup driven by Thomas L. Shuler, 23, of Butler struck a ditch and overturned in a field after sliding off snow- and ice-covered Chicora-Fenelton Road in Donegal Township. The vehicle landed on its wheels after rolling over, police said.State Police, Franklin1:30 p.m. Tuesday — Apickup truck driven by Zhi Yu, 41, of Cleveland, Ohio, struck a traffic sign and landed in a ditch after sliding off snow-covered Interstate 80 in Barkeyville.
7:50 a.m. Wednesday — Sport utility vehicles driven by Edward Wielgus, 56, of Pittsburgh and Frederick Doerfler Jr., 51, of Sarver collided on snow -covered Route 28 in Buffalo Township, Butler County. Police said Wielgus was cited for driving too fast for conditions.7:31 a.m. Wednesday — Acar driven by Allen Keener, 46, of Kittanning crashed over an embankment and rolled onto its roof after hitting an ice patch and skidding off Route 28 in North Buffalo Township.7:15 a.m. Wednesday — Acar driven by Daniel Broadbent, 31, of Indiana, Pa., struck a guardrail after skidding on slush-covered Route 28 in North Buffalo Township.Wednesday — Police charged Kenneth Donald Crawford, 56, a registered sex offender, for violating Megan's Law by moving in December and not reporting to state police his new home address on Route 68 in Bradys Bend Township.Crawford was arraigned on charges of failing to comply with Megan's Law, and placed in Armstrong County Jail on $7,500 bail.5:55 p.m. Tuesday — Vehicles driven by Kathy Lynn Butterbaugh, 51, of Sarver and Christine Crowe, 51, of Natrona Heights collided on Route 28 in Springdale Township, Allegheny County.12:55 p.m. Tuesday — A Mack truck driven by Randolph Quinn, 45, of Kittanning skidded into a pickup truck at North and Broad streets in South Bethlehem. The collision pushed the pickup, driven by Gary Kirkpatrick, 61, of Rimersburg into a guardrail.
