Mars' Rinaman wins hurdles at P-R

Mars' Ori Rinaman won both the 110-meter and 300-meter hurdles at the Pine-Richland Invitational Friday night.

Rinaman ran a time of 14.59 seconds in the 110 hurdles and came in at 40.34 in the 300 hurdles.

The Mars 1,600 meter team of Sonny Zangaro, Gage Zimmerman, Nate Bayuk and Eric Kingsley also captured first place with a time of 3 minutes, 27.12 seconds.

Zangaro also won the high jump with a vault of 6 feet, 4 inches.

The Slippery Rock 3,200 meter relay team of Will Henry, Andrew Maxwell, Shane Kirkwood and Mark Cessar also took home a title with a time of 8:20.95.

On the girls side, Slippery Rock's Emily Campbell won the discus with a throw of 142 feet, 5 inches and was also third in the shot put.

Rockets' 100-meter hurdler, Aster Chmielewski, captured first place with a time of 15.61.

Mars' Lydia Dennis won the long jump at 16-6½ and was second in the triple jump at 33-11¼.

Baldwin Invitational — Seneca Valley's Tanner Quiggle took home a first place finish in the 1,600-meter run with a time of 4:28.96.

The Knoch 3,200-meter relay team of Don Bierhals, Luke Brewer, Preston Carlsson and Paul Kasunic also placed first at 8:15.44.
