Rally pays off for Raiders

SV blows past Shaler; Knoch swimmers sweep

Paige Montrose scored 12 of her game-high 16 points in the fourth quarter and Meghan Hess scored all 10 of her points in the final frame to help Seneca Valley launch a huge rally for a 47-36 section win against Shaler in girls basketball action Thursday.

Seneca Valley trailed 27-16 with two minutes remaining in the third quarter before outscoring Shaler 31-9 over the final 10 minutes.

Kaitlyn Eagle added 13 points for the Raiders (3-2, 2-1).
