Lisa Ambrose and Matthew Smith, both of Butler, were united in marriage Nov. 30, 2019, at The Stables of Connoquenessing, Renfrew. The Rev. Amadeus Gandy officiated. A reception followed at The Stables of Connoquenessing.
The bride is the daughter of Kim Michon of Happy Valley, Ore., and George Ambrose of Cabot. Parents of the bridegroom are Renee Bloom, Paul Schaffer and Jeffrey Smith, all of Butler.
The maid of honor was Chelsea Ambrose of Pittsburgh, the sister of the bride.
Performing the duties of best man was Jeffrey Smith of Butler, the father of the groom.
The ring bearer was Landon Mondzelewski of Pittsburgh, nephew of the bride.
The bride is a 1999 graduate of Knoch High School.
She is employed by Fire and Ice Allstars Cheer Program in Pittsburgh as a gymnastics coach.
The bridegroom is employed by PJ Dick, Trumbull and Lindy Paving of Pittsburgh as a driver.
Following a honeymoon trip to Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic, the couple is making their home in Butler.
