ST. LOUIS — Mitch Keller struck out six in five shutout innings Friday night and Yoshi Tsutsugo hit a pinch-hit home run as the Pittsburgh Pirates snapped a five-game losing streak with a 4-0 win over the St. Louis Cardinals at Busch Stadium.

Gregory Polanco had two RBI for the Pirates (43-79), Bryan Reynolds doubled and scored a run.

Mars graduate David Bednar pitched 1.1 scoreless innings late in the game.
