Mutt strut to be held today
Dogs play at the Cranberry Township Dog Park.
The first Memorial Mutt Strut in memory of Garrett Fifield will be held from 9 a.m. to noon June 9 at the Butler Memorial Park Miller Shelter, 100 Memorial Drive, Butler.
The strut will consist of a two-mile route as well as various raffle items and light refreshments, to celebrate and contribute to Garrett's motto for life, which was to practice true compassion for all animals.
Funds raised will benefit the Butler County Humane Society.
