It’s a packed week to break down.

The WPIAL and District 9 football brackets are out, and Derek Pyda and Jake Merda Adams are here to discuss the seeds and matchups for Karns City, Freeport, North Catholic and Union/A-C Valley. What are their chances? Did the Yellowjackets and Trojans get seeded fairly? Plus, Derek recaps a bit of the Moniteau vs. Central Clarion D9 semifinal last week.

And with PIAA Cross Country Championships days away, Mars standout runner Hailey Long joins us this week to talk about her season, her lacrosse future and more. Who are the runners to watch at states? We’ll break them down on “Eye on Sports.”

No soccer or volleyball coverage this week with the district playoffs in full swing, but go to butlereagle.com for all of our latest coverage.
