2 homes catch fire within hours
Two structure fires broke out Sunday morning, one in Butler Township and the other in Clinton Township.
According to Butler County dispatch records, the two fire calls were within two hours of one another, the first being called in around 8:49 a.m. in Butler Township.
Butler Township firefighters were called to 119 Saxonburg Road for a report of fire in an attic and residents still inside the home.
The four residents had exited the home safely by the time the first units arrived, and none of them were injured, according to Assistant Fire Chief Joe LaDue.
