Discounted tax rate ends Wed.
City residents have until Wednesday to pay their city property taxes at a discounted rate.
City Treasurer Jeff Smith said in a news release that residents can pay their taxes at a 2 percent discount in person at the treasurer’s office in the city building, 140 W. North St.
If residents mail their payments, the envelope must be postmarked by April 30.
Taxes paid after that date will be at the face amount.
