Bresnahan 65th anniversary
Michael and Sally Bresnahan of Butler will celebrate 65 years of marriage with a family dinner. The Rev. Harry Bielewicz will celebrate Mass Thursday at St. Paul Roman Catholic Church in Butler in honor of their anniversary.
Bresnahan married the former Sally Hoover on April 14, 1951, at St. Paul Roman Catholic Church, Butler.
They have six children, Larry Bresnahan of Butler, David Bresnahan of New Castle, Sherry Rodgers of Butler, Patty Colosimo of Renfrew, Michele Henry of Butler and Holly Martin of Cranberry Township.
They also have 12 grandchildren and one great-grandson.
Bresnahan retired from Zelie Consumer Discount Co. of Zelienople after 25 years. He is a member of St. Paul and a lifetime member of VFW Post 249 in Butler. He enjoys golf, bowling, gardening and spending time with his family
Mrs. Bresnahan is a homemaker and a member of St. Paul.
She enjoys playing cards, sewing, breakfast at Panera Bread with her friends and spending time with her children and grandchildren.
