Charles R. Paugh, 87, of Chicora died at 12:45 p.m. July 8 at Butler Memorial Hospital.

Born March 22, 1919, in Gormania, W. Va., he was the son of Daniel Webster Paugh and Mary Ellen Kolbfleisch Paugh.

He had been a truck driver for Wingert Inc. and had worked at The Lutheran Service Society.

Mr. Paugh was an avid gardener.

He is survived by his wife, Stella Summerfield Paugh; a son, Steven D. Paugh of Chicora; five grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.

Two daughters, two sons, three sisters and three brothers preceded him in death.

<B>PAUGH </B>— Friends of Charles R. Paugh, who died Saturday, July 8, 2006, will be received from noon to 1:30 p.m. Sunday at the <B>William F Young Funeral Home</B>, 132 Main St., West Sunbury. A memorial service will follow at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home with the Rev. Robert Mathias of the Concord and North Washington Presbyterian churches, officiating. Burial will be at North Washington Cemetery.
