Man charged in child porn case
An Adams Township man is accused of having an inappropriate relationship over the Internet with a 15-year-old girl from Canada.
James Fugh, 39, of Adams Township was arrested Wednesday and placed in the Butler County Prison on $100,000 bail.
Fugh allegedly had a relationship with a girl from Canada from May 2014 to July 2015. They allegedly started chatting on blahtherapy.com and used multiple other websites and social media platforms to video chat and exchange nude images.
The girl cut off contact after her parents discovered the relationship. Ottawa police interviewed the victim on March 3, and she confirmed the details of the relationship.
While examining Fugh’s computer, police also allegedly discovered hundreds of sexually explicit videos showing girls between the ages of 8 and 12 years old.
When confronted by police, Fugh allegedly admitted to the relationship and turned over a flash drive and his computer. His preliminary hearing is Tuesday.
