James “Jim” B. Koerner, 82, of Warren, Pa., passed away Monday, Oct. 19, 2026.

Jim was born July 3, 1944, in Butler, to Joseph and Lillian Koerner. Jim graduated high school before joining the workforce at the steel mills, and later at A.R.C. Enterprises Inc. as a procurement and placement specialist.

Jim was of the Catholic faith. He loved the Warren community and living near the woods. He was an avid supporter of the emergency response teams in the area. Jim enjoyed spending time in the woods, hunting, but more importantly, enjoying the outdoors.

Jim is survived by his children, Kim (Donny) Utterback; Jolene (Chris) Melton; and James “Jimmy” (Julie) Koerner. Jim is also survived by multiple grandchildren; as well as his brother, Ted (Carol) Koerner; and his sister, Cindy Reichenbacher.

Jim was preceded in death by his parents.

KOERNER — Funeral arrangements for James “Jim” B. Koerner, who died Monday, Oct. 19, 2026, have been entrusted to PETERSON-BLICK FUNERAL HOME, 1003 Pennsylvania Ave. East, Warren. Friends and family are welcomed for a time of visitation from 10 a.m. to noon Sunday, Oct. 25, with a funeral service to follow.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Conewango VFD at 12 S. State St., Warren, PA 16365.
