Burrows

Janet R. Burrows, 80, of Cabot, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 21, 2026, at her home.

Born Jan. 9, 1946, in West Winfield, Pa., she was the daughter of Nicholas Zema and Ruby Stauffer Zema.

Janet worked as a picker for Creekside Mushroom, retiring in 1998 after 30 years. She was a member of Sts. Francis and Claire Parish, St. Joseph Church, in Cabot. She enjoyed cooking, gardening and spending time with her family.

Surviving are her husband, Paul W. Burrows, whom she married April 18, 1964; her son, Paul B. (Erin Bowser) Burrows, of Worthington; her daughter, Michele (Gary) Falconer, of Butler; and her dog, Chloe.

She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Nick Zema, Don Zema and Larry Zema; three sisters, Ruby Zema, Marjorie Langston and Marsha Zema; and one granddaughter, Cierra Burrows.

BURROWS — Services for Janet R. Burrows, who died Wednesday, Oct. 21, 2026, will be private.

Interment will be in the St. Mary’s Cemetery in Herman.
