Salvator “Sam” Anthony Colosimo, 65, passed away unexpectedly Friday, Oct. 16, 2026, at his home in Ridgeland, Miss.

He was born Jan. 16, 1961, in Pittsburgh, the son of Salvatoro “Sam” Colosimo and the late Diane Mager Harlan.

He was a member of the Butler High School Class of 1979, a veteran of the Army Reserve and worked for most of his adult life in Georgia and Mississippi.

In addition to his father, he is survived by his son, Sam Colosimo; his siblings, Marie (Rob) Domhoff, Teresa Colosimo Armstrong, Rona (Jeffrey) Howenstine, Rene (Greg) Williamson and Sean Harlan; as well as several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his mother, daughter and granddaughter.
