MARS — Mars National Bancorp, Inc., the newly-formed holding company for Mars National Bank, has joined OTCQX, which operates financial trading markets for 10,000 U.S. and global securities.

The company's stock will trade under the symbol “MNBP.” Investors can find current financial disclosure and Real-Time Level 2 quotes for the company on www.otcmarkets.com.

In a news release, James V. Dionise, president and CEO of the bank, called this “another significant step as we continue to grow a 21st-century community bank to best serve our shareholders, customers, employees and communities.”

NexTier Bank and Farmers & Merchants Bank of Western PA have completed the merger between the two banks.The merged bank will keep the NexTier name and will be headquartered in Butler. It has 24 community offices throughout northern Allegheny, Armstrong and Butler counties, and about $970 million in assets.The two banks announced the merger in May 2013. The deal was finalized Wednesday after receiving all shareholder and regulatory approvals.Farmers & Merchants Bank was based in Kittanning.
