Hazel E. Watts Palmer, 91, of Chicora, formerly of Karns City, died at 9:15 a.m. Wednesday at Butler Memorial Hospital.

She was born July 6, 1915, in Kittanning.

Surviving are a son, David Palmer and his wife, Theresa, of Karns City; four grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John N. Palmer, who died Sept. 14, 1992; a son; two daughters; a grandson, and a number of brothers and sisters.

<B>PALMER</B> — Friends of Hazel E. Watts Palmer, who died Wednesday, Oct. 4, 2006, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the <B>Young Funeral Home</B>, 127 W. Jefferson St. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home with Patricia Sawaya, chaplain of the Chicora Medical Center, officiating.
