Edith G. Lewis, 93, of Cabot, died Sunday morning at Butler Memorial Hospital.

Born Dec. 8, 1912, she was the daughter of David and Nora Roberts Lewis.

She worked as a clerk for Morrison's Candy Shop from 1944 to 1974.

A member of First Baptist Church, she enjoyed knitting, poetry, gardening and animals.

She was preceded in death by a brother and three sisters.

<B>LEWIS</B> — Friends of Edith G. Lewis, who died Sunday, Oct. 8, 2006, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at <B>THOMPSON-MILLER FUNERAL HOME</B>, 124 E. North St. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, officiated by the Rev. David Maitland of First Baptist Church.
