It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Raymond Anthony Gonzalez, who departed this life peacefully on Friday, Oct. 9, 2026, at the age of 89.

Raymond was born on Jan. 28, 1937, in Pittsburgh, to Romulo and Clara Gonzalez.

Raymond was a devoted and loving father to Raymond and Renee. He was a proud grandfather to Michaela and great-grandfather to Juliette. Raymond was a loving and dedicated husband to his wives, Rue and Karen, who preceded him in death. Raymond’s kindness, generosity and unwavering love for his family will never be forgotten.

Raymond always put others first and served with a smile. His legacy of service, humility and compassion will continue to inspire all who knew him.

GONZALEZ — Friends of Raymond Anthony Gonzalez, who died Friday, Oct. 9, 2026, will be received from noon to 4 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 18, at MAURICE L. KNEE FUNERAL HOME, 7663 Saltsburg Road, Plum, Pa.

A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, Oct. 19, at the funeral home.

Interment will follow in Plum Creek Cemetery.
