Seneca Valley hires architectural firm for study
JACKSON TWP — The Seneca Valley School Board Monday night hired a Pittsburgh architectural firm to do a study of planned upgrades and renovations to district facilities.
Several buildings and athletic facilities will have to be renovated in the next decade, and the firm Stantec will study them to determine the scope of those renovations.
The district will pay Stantec $46,008 for the study, which will be done by the end of October.
The study will use factors like geographic constraints when determining the scope of renovations, while it also will analyze current and future enrollment and how the facilities meet the district’s growing enrollment.
The firm, which has locations across the country, also has an office in Butler.
