Timmi Longdon

Residence: Connoquenessing Township

Education: Attended Slippery Rock University

Occupation: Butler Eagle supply chain manager

QUESTION: Why are you running for the school board?

LONGDON: As a Butler graduate, I am looking forward to giving back to my community. I am running to bring fresh and new ideas to the school district.

QUESTION: What are the pressing issues the board will have to tackle and how should they be addressed?

LONGDON: The upcoming consolidation vote will result in many new issues.

Along with those we have to continue to examine our technology, our programs, and our finances.

It is essential that the board be open minded to any and all ideas presented; listening to the community when they have something to share.

QUESTION: How would you balance holding down expenses with maintaining quality education in the classroom?

LONGDON: There are many variables that contribute to expenses and education.

I look forward to working with the other school board directors to share ideas and come up with fresh ideas to improve our district as a whole.
